If you want to create and have a healthy relationship, there are a lot of ways but maybe there are some reliable tools that we haven’t realized nor tried them yet so far and we can probably learn from these simple guidelines on how to have a healthy relationship in our love life.

1. If you want to be happy, you yourself must be the one who responsible for your happiness and never expect anyone to be responsible for your happiness. Why is that? When someone is not happy, usually they will blame their partner and that’s the most reason why a lot of relationship fail. You control your life, you need to give as well as take.

2. You must make a clear statements and agreements and keep it in your relationship with your partner. Never expects your partner will agree with you on everything, but you must respect the difference between you and your partner. When you find disagreement, you must find solution and reach mutual agreement and you must commit to it. By showing respects for yourself and your partner it will keep the agreements as well as creating a sense of trust and safety between you and your partner.

3. In order to understand different point of views that might come up between you and your partner, you must use communication to establish a common ground. You can’t chose to always be right and to have a successful relationship at the same time. To have a healthy relationship means both of you have your own experiences and you must learn to love and share from those experiences.

4. If you want to find and have true love, you must be true to yourself and your partner. Don’t lie to protect someone’s feeling even though it’s sometimes hurt and painful, as lies will create a distant in your relationship. Trust is something important in a relationship that you must work hard to have it in your relationship with your partner.

5. Be humble and admit your mistakes if you think you’ve made mistakes. Don’t be prideful to say sorry first to your partner if you think you’re wrong and made mistakes. Each of you must take time to talk and explain the reason why you or your partner have made mistakes and it will strengthen the communication and relationship between you and your partner.

6. Forgive one to another if you or your partner have made mistakes. You must take control of your current situation as forgiveness is a decision that you must made to let go of your past and to focus on what is happening on the present. You must know how to handle the situation in the future and try to reach a mutual agreement. Don’t let your anger or resentment ruin your relationship with your partner.

7. You must clearly review on your expectations towards your partner when you commit to have relationship with her / him, such as what is acceptable and unacceptable behavior and attitudes that you are expecting from your partner. Don’t be so naïve as we’re all know that we need love, intimacy, affection and affirmation in our relationship that we are building with our partner.

8. Do you believe me if I say that laugh will be the best medicine yet laugh will also be able to create a great relationship with our partner? Because through laugh, you can make your relationship relax, fun and approachable.

9. Lastly, the most important thing to have a healthy relationship is by spending some quality time together with your partner. You have to share your precious time together no matter how busy you are, but I’m sure that there is always an excitement when you can do something together with your partner. You can go to watch movie together, eat at your favorite restaurant, just do something together that will make both of you feel happy and enjoy the excitement and you can feel the magic of love and the connection between two of you.
